Great optic, not made in Philippines like other Hardlines
This is for the MOA model. It's definitely competitive at the price point. Great glass, good 1x, good illumination (almost daylight bright, definitely useable against dark backgrounds in daylight), no fisheye, 10x looks good even in low light, and good build quality. 4 stars because this particular SKU is made in China as opposed to the Philippines, so it's slogging it out in the <$500 Chinesium category where it's competing against the Arken and Swampfox, both of which better turret systems and are FFP (though this likely has better glass). It would be nice if CT clearly advertised the country of origin so buyers can make more informed decisions.
Pros:
- great glass
- 34mm tube
- Good build quality
Cons:
- Made in China
- Janky zero reset
Would recommend: Yes

4 and a half stars so far
i've only had this optic a few days. so far so good.
the good -decent glass compared to a vortex strike eagle 1-8x and not to terribly far behind the viper pst 1-6x certainly good enough to my eye. light transmission seems good @88% . the scope is big and requires a 34mm mount , seems solidly built and the turrets seem quite positive. the illumination is very good and seems daylight bright or very nearly so. in spite of it being quite large it seems to weigh no more than an 30mm lpvo- and a good bit less than a viper/pst the eye box gets narrows as it does on any lpvo as you turn the mag up yet i find it still usable @10x i like the generous eye adjustments. it also came with snap-cappys and a throw leaver --sould have came with a mount due to its odd dia- overall quailty of the build looks pretty decent to me.
the bad --so far i can't find many faults with it other than the same problems ALL 1-10 lpvos have like the tight eye box 10x , i don't think its quite fair to compare this to the viper pst-1-6x i came close to getting the swamp-fox 1-10x which i think would be closer to this model. it was quite a bit less than the fox and i wanted to try the 34mm tubes if this thing had the same glass as the PST?? all bets are off--lol
