I can tell you that this is one of the best way to aim without sites. I would buy one of these for all my systems if it were available. For use at night or in the dark there isn't any better way to go.

I've tried them all and none can hold a candle to Crimson Trace. If it's in my wife's or my
carry rotation, it has a Crimson Trace laser sight on it. I have never had a problem with one
and I've used them since Crimson Trace first came out with a Lasergrip for a S&W revolver.
This newest version is easier to put the batteries in and mount making it even better.

Crimson Trace did an incredible job keeping the grip profile the same. It needed very little adjustment straight out of the box. I highly recommend this product for either the serious shooter; or the person considering a laser sight for a conceal carry.

Appears well made. Easy to install and zero. Handy laser addition to a small pocket pistol which has a short sight radius.
Like the handy on/off switch at the base of the grip.
battery fits well inside the grip. battery has adequate life for a self defense conceal carry weapon - unless you're like me and play with it all the time.
However the Kimber solo is so small that if you aren't careful your trigger finger will block the laser while on the trigger guard. It doesn't get in the way when finger is on the trigger.

Have used Laserguards on most of my firearms, always satisfied. Easy to install and zero. The only thing that you need to be aware of is that if the firearm is extremely small grip the Laserguards takes more room on the grip. Longer grips accommodate them easier. Also be aware you will need to buy an appropriate holster for the additional width.

The Crimson Trace Laser grips greatly facilitate fast target acquisition, especially in low light conditions. The grips are non-intrusive and the on/off activation is automatic with pressure from a normal grip of the weapon. Battery life is extremely long with the very inexpensive 2032 batteries available almost everywhere. Additionally, on the lower left pistol grip there is a secondary small on/off switch to deactivate the normal pressure button. I have had five sets of these laser grips and every one operates superbly.

I have several Crimson trace lasers and have had just one issue that Crimson trace took care of at no cost immediately.
Though rather pricey, its the best on the market.
Laser grips are less comber some than many other laser options.
Lifetime batteries!

In a stress situation the ability to quickly asses and respond is a very strong incentive. Knowing that you will hit what you want to hit and not your wife's Ming Vase (or candy jar for that matter) is a strong incentive. This grip is easy to install, zeros easily and potentially diminishes the stress factor significantly....

I got the stainless steel Kimber Solo which didn't come with a Crimson Trace right out of the factory. The Crimson Trace is super easy to install and makes a good pocket pistol into a great one. It had to be sighted in since it was off right out of the box. Took just a little bit and it was right on the money. It is an effective tool if needed in a hurry would definitely recommend this for anyone with a solo.

Works/fits just as well as the grips supplied with the Solo CDP. The only difference is the grip color. Easily installed, and adjusted for windage and/or height. Instructions are good and everything to install and provide user-service is included (except for a screwdriver). Free batteries, except for lithium ones, are provided annually by Crimson Trace. Although it's not available with a green laser it's still an excellent product!
Pros:
- Nice fit and finish
- Easy to make windage and height adustments to the laser
- Easily installed
Cons:
- Green laser not available
- Pricey
