Most Helpful Positive Review Another great CT product
Standard Crimson Trace improved on-target quick acquisition on my Ruger Alaskan. What is a slight negative for me (which may be a positive for someone else) is that the effective trigger distance was decreased compared to the stock grips.

by MikeK, Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on June 24, 2018
What"s not to like it takes it to a new concealed carry level. it is easy to see in the daylight and well its amazing in the dark. This laser is fantastic, it is easy to install, its accurate, it is very easy to sight in. I'll be adding lasers to a few more firearms.
Pros:
  • Everything
Cons:
  • nothing

Great product.

This is my forth Crimson Trace product. OpticsPlanet has always had the best prices on line for them. They can be used either right or left handed. This item does fit the Ruger GP100. These are also very useful for dry fire practice. Think you have good trigger control? These will let you see if that is so.
Pros:
  • Easy use
Cons:
  • Hard to see in bright light
Best Used for:
  • Dry fire practice
  • low light tactical situations

Crimson Trace grips

Easy to install and adjust. Holds adjustment well. Have used Crimson Trace for years and have never been disappointed. I can't say the same for other brands. I just wish that they would make more of them in green lasers.

Holds a large battery for extended standby time. Installation simple on weapons. A "MUST HAVE" for your primary defense weapon. I was going to buy another handgun for my small collection. But instead bought TWO of these for the same money and am happy I did. My confidence level is very high now.
Pros: Teaches you to be a better shooter, may save your family's life one day.
Cons: None

Ruger GP100 Lasergrip

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on April 7, 2012
Purchased this Lasergrip for my GP100 to make to easier for my wife to shoot. My right index finger tends to block the beam when extended out of the trigger guard. I like the on-off switch (my Laserguard doesn't have one) Optics Planet customer service is top notch! Thanks
Pros: Laser beam not blocked for lefties
Cons: Right index finger tends to block laser beam
