Crimson Trace LG445
Fits the XD 45 exactly. Crimson Trace is also providing a free set of batteries each year for life.
Have begun using to help improve trigger pull.

Crimson Trace laser grip
I already had one on my 9 mm Springfield and love it. I thought this was the right model for my 45; but it isn't. However, I did get it on! It works perfectly. I just hope later on that it does not crack apart. Lots of pressure to get it over the "grip zone" grips. Both units came zeroed! Didn't have to do any adjusting for elev. nor wind on either one.
Would recommend: Yes
Crimson Trace Grip on Springfield XD 45
Installation was straight forward with the enclosed instructions. Fine tuning the light placement at 25ft was simple once I figured out that the side adjuster was for left/right and the top adjuster was for elevation (DUH).
Once adjusted and with a little two handed practice, I had no problems putting shots right on target with either my right or left single hand.

Maybe mine is defective
Just received this and it was a big disappointment. You have to wiggle the actuator switch to make the laser turn on...and only intermittently at that. If you hold the grip too tight or too loose, the laser turns off...you have to play with the pressure on the switch and get it just right to turn the laser on. This isn't very good if you are in a stressful situation and want to depend on the laser. Sending it back for replacement!
On the Pro side...it does fit well on the XD 45 and the concept it good. I like the fact that it is supposed to be intuitive to use without having to use a regular on/off switch to turn it on.
I was planning on purchasing 2 more (for an 9mm XDm and XDs-45). I'll see if a different one works well...otherwise will have to look at another brand of laser.
On the Pro side...it does fit well on the XD 45 and the concept it good. I like the fact that it is supposed to be intuitive to use without having to use a regular on/off switch to turn it on.

LG445 Crimson Trace Lasergrip
The fit is better than I thought it would be. Very easy to set up and use. Great quality. Well built. A little "fat" in the hand but all in all a very good design. Maybe a little to expensive but may be worth the money when/if needed.

You Can't Go Wrong!
Easy to install; the only tool required is included in the box. The laser is right on target straight out of the box. You can't go wrong with this laser!
