Most Helpful Positive Review LG-85 Laser Grip
I was disappointed when I first took them out they felt like toys. But once on the felt more substainal. The work great though. I will buy grips for my carry guns. I'll buy the newer rubberized ones. Pros: Small easy to use Cons: It's hard plastic it feels ok but not great.

Crimson Trace Laser Grip

by Jewish Sheep Dog, from TX, United States Written on January 11, 2017
This model, LG-185 fits my Taurus "J" frame mod.650. It was simple and easy to install and works as advertised. After 20+ years of law enforcement and more in armed security I have retired and now by choice carry this revolver. Reliability, simplicity and rugged frame are the main selling points.
And if I am to chose reliability over magazine capacity then I feel the CTC makes up for lack of ammunition. And with most self defense scenarios taking place in low light environments the Laser Dot makes an impressive statement when confronting the violator. "I can't miss you" message may keep me from actually discharging the weapon, and that for me is the best outcome as a civilian. Nobody wants to be the target of the D.A. or civil case in an O.I.S.
So I thank CTC for their fine products.

Great Laser Sight

by cmurf, from GA, United States Written on January 13, 2015
I bought this laser sight to install on my wife's hammerless Taurus Ultra-Lite 38 special. It arrived as promised and was very easy to install. Zeroing the sight took only minor adjustments and was simple. By reducing the trigger pull to 4 lbs and adding the laser sight my wife's accuracy and her confidence in using the gun increased dramatically. My goal was to increase her safety, that was met. She is now happy and confident with the gun and that is what matters most.
Pros:
  • easy to install and zero, grip fits my wife's hand well
Cons:
  • None

Wife's Gun Becomes Super Accurate

by sfgunslinger, from NM, United States Written on January 8, 2015
Bought thses grips on sale before Christmas for my wifes Taurus .357 The original grips actualy felt better than thes plactic ones, but while shooting I couldnt tell the difference. I have the more expensive rosewood lasergrips on my 1911 and they are very nice.

After adjustment to the fixed sights maintained zero after 75rds at the range. My wife loved it, she's not an avid shooter but got most all hits on target even when she was jerking the trigger. When she was shooting well all hits in the 9 ring of the target or head. She now wants to practice once a month.

A real game changer for somebody who doesnt shoot a lot but wants a gun for personal protection.
Pros:
  • ease of accurate fire for shooter
  • game changer in high stress situations where shooting fundamentals could degrade
Cons:
  • grips are plastic
Best Used for:
  • inside the home or during dark hours

Quick to acquire target and hit great shots. Much easier than using the fixed sights, especially with older eyes. My Taurus is now much more usable and fun to shoot.
