I purchased a crimson trace for my ruger in 2011 and only used it maybe 30 or 40 rounds over the past 9 years. I pulled it out last week and tried to use it and it did not work. I replaced batteries 4 times and still nothing. I contacted crimson trace and they said the best they could do was to take 50% off a new one. They did not want me to send it back to troubleshoot or nothing. It cost me 240.00 so I am not inclined to spend more money on a product that the manufacturer will not stand behind. Just my opinion.

Excellent product, accurate and reliable! The main benefit is instant on when you grip the firearm and it works with existing holsters. I have been using this for about a year with no issues. Also if you purchase new, lifetime batteries are included.

THE LASER GRIPS TO MY SIGHT PICTURE. SINCE I AM NO SPRING CHICKEN ANYMORE, MY EYES ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THEY
USE TO BE. THE LASER SIGHT REVERSES THIS SHORT COMING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE GRIPS.

I had the CTC Laserguard on my Glock 26 and changed it for this sight. This sight is great. It is easy to activate as compared to the lasergrip. Don't misunderstand me the CTC Laserguard was good, but this sight in my opinion is better.

I have Crimsom Trace on all my Glocks and they are great! This one is no exception. It was easy to install and can be sighted in at home. The directions are simple and easy to follow. No need to burn a lot of ammo, just put up an aiming point and line the sights up. Bring the laser into the sight picture and you are ready to go. Distance is not usually a factor since most situations will occur within the range that you sighted in - in your home. If you want to increase the distance the home-sight-in will be a big help in getting you on the paper.

Excellent quality and function typical of Crimson Trace products. Set-up and installation could not be any easier. The unit works with every holster I have for the gun (IWB, OWB and ankle holsters). The laser unit locates about where a 1911 thumb safety would be (right side) and is no bigger than a thumb safety would be. The instructions say the laser has been sighted for 50 feet and mine was absolutely correct. I'm very happy with the product, but I have 1 issue and a comment:
Issue - the surface of the Lasergrip is very smooth. No texturing whatsoever. I feel strongly that this is a problem that needs to be addressed, and is the reason for the 4 star rating vice 5 stars.
Comment - I have large hands; I had been alternating between the medium and large backstrap provided by Glock. The CT replaces the Glock backstraps and the grip fits my hand very well; it provides a fuller - not longer palmswell that does not interfere with the finger grip at all - they really did their homework on this. That said, someone with smaller hands who wouldn't normally add a backstrap might have a fit issue.

These Crimson Trace Laser Grips werean easy to install. Once installed adjustment was a simple process with the supplied Allen wrench. The laser beam is bright an activation is accomplished simply by griping the weapon. The unit does not interfere with holstering or drawing.

Installation took all of 5 minutes. Fit up was great and it looks like it is part of the gun instead of an accessory that was added on. Made the gun a bit wider, but it does not interfere with the holsters that I already bought.

The LG 852 was very easy to put on my Glock 26. It may have taken all of 2 minutes. Looks and feels great. Would highly recommend.
