Crimson Trace Laserguard Green Laser (Glock 42 and 43)
Mounted on my Glock 43. An easy mount, but due to my caution in not over-tightening the small screw/bolts too much, the point of impact shifted after several rounds fired. The fix was easy enough--just tighten slowly until both screws were snug and no more problems. My Bad!
The green laser does work much better in daylight but in the bright Texas sun the dot is only visible for about 10 yards. Dusk or dawn or a cloudy day I have used it at 25 yards, with my latest prescription glasses worn.
The Green is better than the red laser and is worth the extra $. Great peace of mind for getting o...

Cheap and used
When i I have the item, it was clearly used, with heavy internal wear and corroded terminals. When placed on the weapon, it was easily movable with cheap, finely threaded screws holding the case together.

Crimson Trace Laserguard LG-443G
The Glock 43 is an excellent conceal carry defensive firearm. I recently purchased a Crimson Trace Laserguard LG-443G (green) to enhance its defensive functionality. The Laserguard is well designed, wraps snugly and securely to the gun, has an on/off switch and is activated by your normal grip of the gun. Adding accessories to a gun usually means a new holster. They can be hard to find. Hidden Hybrid has a double clip OWB/IWB holster that will fit this and many other gun with accessory options. I love wearing it Inside the Waistband but I can't promote IWB carry without also recommending Tactical pants like 5.11 Buy pants 2" larger than your usual waist size. The Lasguard is an excellent addition to the above combination. The folks at OpticsPlanet did a great job of Customer Service and of mailing the laser promptly. Best Regards, Wisconsin Will
Pros:
- Well designed, easy to use and visible green laser
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Self Defense Firearm

Easy to install, easy to activate, easy to see
The Crimson Trace Laserguard LG-443G green laser is easy to install on a Glock 42 - just snap it on the triggerguard and tighten the tiny Allen screws with the tiny Allen wrench provided in the kit. It is also simple and easy to activate - just take a normal firm grip on the Glock and it comes on automatically. (With a little practice, you can loosen your grip on the activation button just slightly to avoid activating the laser if you want to.) It does not materially alter the "feel" of the grip, IMO. The green dot is also really easy to see, even in daylight (at least out to 25 yards, which is as far as I tested it.) It is much easier to see that red laser dots in all light conditions, and (for me, at least) it makes it easier to shoot accurately when practicing weapon retention drills in which the pistol is tucked in closer to the body instead of extended as it would be in a more normal shooting stance. It's a handy little gadget!
Pros:
- Lightweight
- reliable
- Easy to install and use
Cons:
- expensive for a backup sight
