Matt S.'s Review of Crimson Trace LiNQ Wireless Green Laser Sight and Tactical Light for AR-Type Rifles

The more rail space you have, the more likely you are to put stuff on it.

Start mounting up multiple electronic devices and you will likely have a rats nest of wires/cords.

The LinQ changes that. The grip replaces your standard AR grip and controls the light/laser unit.

*Note-Non mil spec receivers, especially billet receivers, may require fitting of the grip

There is a master on/off, intuitive grip activation, and a side button to cycle modes (light, laser, light & laser, strobe & laser).

The light/laser unit has a rear push button on it as well so it can be activated without using the grip if desired or necessary.

Similar to bluetooth, the 2 units are linked via a secure network so there is no chance of remote interference or concerns about running multiple units in close quarters.

Crimson Trace makes outstanding products that perform well and hold up against the worst. The LinQ is no exception to that.

Powerful Green Laser and 300 lumen Illumination make the LinQ a valuable asset for any AR.

Grip runs on CR2 battery and Light/Laser unit runs on CR123 battery.

Lose the rail clutter without losing activation options.

Expect more compatible units (IR anyone?) to come from Crimson Trace
