Well, I got mine today, I opened it and opened the compartment for the battery, inserted the battery the wrong way, closed the battery compartment and its been stuck there and i am unable to unscrew the lid back out. now i have a very expensive paper weight. Save your money and buy something else.
Pros:
- Dont know, product failed at installation

Absolutely love this thing! The price is very reasonable. It was very easy to sight in, particularly by using the scope I have to line up with the target before roughing in the laser. A few shots later it was sighted in! The light is bright and the grip switch is easy to operate after you become familiar with it.
Pros:
- Quality build. Easy to install. Easy to use.

Optics Planet is my source for laser sights. They are consistently lower in price than the other places I shop, and their customer support is top notch. And, The LiNQ laser/light combo is a great tool. Easy to install, and spot on. Great combo of company and products.

Just picked up a Springfield Armory Saint Victor which on its own is a SCREAMING HOT WEAPON !!! Put a new Holosun HE 510C optic on it and with the cash I saved over not buying an EOTECH version of the same optic ( except the Holosun has more/better features ;-), I added a green laser Linq WIRELESS remote laser/light . When your doing house to house sweeps, its a no brainer that you want as much on your side as you can get. I first looked at the streamlight unit and it was pretty sweet I must say. BUT, the LinQ here is MUCH brighter by far, the Green laser is VERY VERY Strong, stronger than the streamlight and the deal maker is the LinQ is a wireless set up and can be completely controlled with your grip hand. It has 4 modes that are very inice, especially the laser/strobe combination. The strobe immediately and completely disorients whoever is looking at it, as in the bad guys, and the laser, once you site it in at the range, tells you and the bad guys, precisely where the point of impact of that hot little 5.56 slug is going to impact them in a second or two. You'll never again have to put the rifle in front of your face if you don't want to, leaving your field of vision UNBLOCKED and that is a HUGE ADVANTAGE. This piece of equipment is a TOTAL GAME CHANGER. Get one, installs in a minute or two, and you will be smiling ... GUARANTEED. ZOMBIES BEWARE !!!
Pros:
- light weight and WIRELESS
- brilliant light
- VERY strong laser beam !!!
Best Used for:
- Self defense
- Hunting Zombies or other wild creatures

I'm not sure what happened with my previous review, but it states I would NOT recommend it, and that is not the case;I WOULD definitely RECOMMEND the Crimson Trace LiNQ, and I apologize for my unintended error. Crimson Trace makes excellent products.

I like the light module, but the grip module could be better. The switches are small and difficult to activate. The on/off button is small, round, and has sharp edges, when it should be larger, rectangular, and hard plastic instead of the rubber that will eventually become sticky. The master switch is hard to access, have to use my fingernail to move it. The lengthy delay when cycling through the modes is inconvenient. The light module works very well, using its own controls, and if it was available separately, I would buy it witout the grip module for use on other than AR platforms. The light(s) are constant-on when using the module switch, but only momentary when using the grip switch.
Pros:
- Low lumens are good for interior use. Pairing of light/LASER.
Cons:
- Could use High/Low light capability
- Grip switches could be improved.

As with everything from CT, the LiNQ system screams quality from the moment it's unboxed to the first few shots. Install was easy, also as expected, pairing the grip with the module just as easy, and surprisingly, the laser needed no adjustment after being tightened down on the rail. The button on the grip takes a little getting used to, but works exactly as intended. My favorite way to activate is to simply bump the large button on the module with my knuckle while aiming. I have a vertical grip about 3-4 inches behind the module and it's a natural movement for me. When activating this way, the laser stays on (which I like) and when I want to shut it off, I simply put pressure on the grip button. Maybe not ideal for everyone, but this process is perfect for me. The laser is green (awesome, by the way) and super-bright. Very surprised how far out I could see it in daylight. At night, it seemed to go on forever. Flashlight is also very bright and the modes cover all the bases (Laser Only, Laser & Light, Light Only, Laser & Strobe Light). So glad I picked this up, especially just under the deadline for the free pistol laser rebate. Looking forward to seeing that in the mail, as well. Highly recommended!
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- features
- cool factor
Best Used for:
- Having The Coolest Setup At The Range
- Being The Envy Of Your Shooting Buddies
- Reliable Laser & Light Needs

Normally I Change Stock Grips With Hogue But This System Intrigued Me. Right Out Of The Box I Played With Linq System Before Mounting. It Worked Perfectly. Buttons Were Easily Activated. Thought To Myself Not Sure The Complaints About Buttons Being Hard To Activate. After Mounting And Testing I Seen The Complaints. For Me I Have To Grip Differently To Hit The Button. Once You Have A Decent Grip It Doesn’t Take Much Pressure To Activate. I Noticed When I Pull Trigger The Laser Shuts Down Then Comes Back On Shortly After. My Grip Must Relax Causing Less Pressure On The Button. Without Pulling Trigger I Can Keep Laser On Continuously. ( Button Would Not Be A Problem If It Was On The Rear Of The Grip). Now After Some Practice I Can Keep Laser Continously On When Pulling Trigger. This May Be A Issue In A Home Defense Scenerio. Playing At The Range Plinking Steel Targets Is The Main Reason I Purchased The Linq System So I’m Not Bothered By My Grip Issue. This Grip Doesn’t Fit As Nicely As A Stock Grip Or A Hogue Grip. There Is A Gap Between Grip And Trigger Guard On M&P15T. The Top Rear Of The Grip (Webbing Area) Doesn’t Form Well To The Firearm Either. I Have To Tell Myself Its A 15, It Doesn’t Have To Look Perfect. I Feel If The Grip Was Oversized Rubber It Would Hide A Lot Of These Gaps. It Feels About The Same As A Stock Grip Which Isn’t Bad. Mounting The Grip To Firearm Was A Patience Test. Screw Refused To Start. Modes Is Very Easy To Cycle Through. I Prefer Using The Module ...

Unit is very nice and clear. Would recommend. Had issues with unit adjusting laser. Sent back to Crimson trace and had it back in less than a week. Very good customer service and new unit works great.

Im no expert, but Great quality product. However shift times between modes of operation are a little slow for my liking. Good concept though. I got this product for home security, my recommendation would be if your using for same purpose as me, leave it on laser flashlight. If i could recommend you a product that i think may be better, id say go for the firefield green laser flashlight combo grip. The linQ may be capable of more precision though, but the firefield more speedy shifts between modes of operation.
Cons:
- Slow transition time between modes
