Crimson Trace Master Series LaserGrip
Purchased the laser sight to improve accuracy because I need to use prescription glasses for distance but can't see the pistol sights clearly when wearing the glasses. Installed on my Les Baer full size 1911. When I initially read the product description I thought it was a green laser because of Green in the product title and the hefty price. The grip side panels are green and the laser is red--as stated in the product specifications section. There Good Laser Grips ...but not great.
Fit to frame is excellent, laser so far working good. like the blending of grip surface design. takes patients getting grips on (tight fit) and sighting laser (small adjusting screw). The not so great is that These grip panels are slightly duller in appearance than non laser G10 grips, design or materials specified buy manufacturer. upper grip area is smooth and my support hand tends to slide off when rapid firing. have since added a small piece of grip tape that corrected issue. overall this is a good laser grip and is growing on me.
Pros:
- fits well, laser works good, design
Cons:
- upper grip is smooth, support hand slides of in rapid fire
Best Used for:
- Conceal Carry or Home Defence

Laser aiming
Works exactly as advertised. For range or competition shooting the red dot and beam is distracting. But for low light or off hand shooting it works great.
Pros: Great for off hand shooting
Cons: Distracting for aimed shooting
