As expected, these grips carry with them them the functionality and reliability expected of CT. I found no unpleasant surprises nor disappointments on my range experiences with them. The Rosewood grain, the finish and the workmanship reflect the level you'd expect in wood grips in this price range (irrespective of the inclusion of a laser). The fit on my two 1911 Bobtailed Commander style pistols was precise: one was an Ed Brown custom and the other was a S&W911 SC E-series. Everything I was expecting
I've wanted these grips for years, so when they went on sale I had to buy them. Installation was simple, and so was adjusting windage and elevation. They are attractive to look at on my Kimber. The rosewood really pops against the stainless steel.

I have been waiting on this model since I purchased my Nighthawk Custom Talon with the Ed Brown Bobtail option. It fits the gun great, is easy to install easy to site-in and a must for anyone using their weapon for self defense.
