Ct-Rad Auto Brightness
Ok, i got this one and the new vortex ccw, at the same time, i mount the vortex in a springfield xd-s mod 2 and i like it at first but i dont like the 14 hrs shutdown feature, so i install this CT-Rad and honestly i like it more, the auto brightness is what i like , not worry about setting change during the day or nigth, and the vortex side buttons are too soft, even after "locking" the desired brightness, the buttons are easily pressed to change level of brightness.
I think the ct-rad pro is better because the wake on feature, and shutdown faster but, not a deal breaker for me.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY
I bought two CT-RAD optics at the same time. One Green that would not interface with the CT Mounting Kit and one Red.
The red dot did interface and attach using the mounting kit. However, the holes in the optic, through which the dovetail devices secure to the firearm, have about a 1/16th larger diameter which when tightened to 15 in pound, still allows for the optic to move left and right. Bad enough for attempting to maintain zero alignment. Then the windage adjustment in the optic did not work. To create a zero alignment the optic and dovetail mounting had to be tapped over.
Waste of time and money.

Coyote Hunter
This is my second CT red dot put first one on Walther 22 mag works great, second one on S & W MP 5.7 took 3 shots to put on bullseye love it, glad i caught it on sale, also easy install. Optics Planet is the way to go!
