Be careful when ordering this sight from optics planet - Crimson Trace CMR-201 Rail Master Red Laser Sight w/ Universal Mount

This laser sight works great. Very easy to turn the laser on and off with a simple touch of your trigger finger. HOWEVER - A note of caution: Two versions of this laser sight are listed on the Optics Planet website. The only difference that is noted is one has polymer sideplates and one has aluminum sideplates. That is not the only difference. The one with the MPN number of 01-3000226 is set up for 1913 or Glock rails, has one mounting screw, and is probably OK for guns with shorter barrels, but leaves the paddle switches too far out on guns with longer barrels. The one with the MPN number of 01-9690-1 has spacers that allow more options for mounting distance and has two mounting screws. The pictures all show the version with two mounting screws. I originally ordered the 01-3000226 version but it was defective and didn't fit my longer barreled CZ-SP01 so I returned it and ordered the 01-9690-1 version. After three weeks I received the same version as I originally ordered. I've requested a refund because I don't trust that Optics Planet recognizes the difference between these two versions. I ended up buying the right version at my local gun store for $30.00 more than the price at Optics Planet, but at least I knew what I was getting.
