This laser sight works great. Very easy to turn the laser on and off with a simple touch of your trigger finger. HOWEVER - A note of caution: Two versions of this laser sight are listed on the Optics Planet website. The only difference that is noted is one has polymer sideplates and one has aluminum sideplates. That is not the only difference. The one with the MPN number of 01-3000226 is set up for 1913 or Glock rails, has one mounting screw, and is probably OK for guns with shorter barrels, but leaves the paddle switches too far out on guns with longer barrels. The one with the MPN number of 01-9690-1 has spacers that allow more options for mounting distance and has two mounting screws. The pictures all show the version with two mounting screws. I originally ordered the 01-3000226 version but it was defective and didn't fit my longer barreled CZ-SP01 so I returned it and ordered the 01-9690-1 version. After three weeks I received the same version as I originally ordered. I've requested a refund because I don't trust that Optics Planet recognizes the difference between these two versions. I ended up buying the right version at my local gun store for $30.00 more than the price at Optics Planet, but at least I knew what I was getting.

I bought one of these years ago. love it. Now mounted on a Byrna HD. Needed a second one for a new Byrna TCR. Looked for low prices as this sight can run to $169. Lowest price was OpticsPlanet. An older model. Fits the side rail on the TCR perfectly. Got it zeroed to the sights in a few minutes and love it. Replacement batteries easy to get, lasts up to several years depending on the use. Note: the W and E adjustments are messed up when mounting on the side of a device instead of under or over. But, you can figure that out. The W becomes the elevation adjustment and the E becomes the windage adjustment. Best price, shipped quicker than the original estimate. Thank you OpticsPlanet!

This is an effective tool if you’re looking for one more level of deterrence before the last resort of discharging your firearm in self defense or the defense of others. A red laser on your firearm is definitely a psychological edge for those looking to be one step ahead of the bad guys.

Haven’t had it long, but it is easy to install, easy to sight in, and works as expected. No complaints here.

Crimson Trace makes excellent excellent products. Definitely never disappointed with them. The way this clamps on is perfect, and the inserts fit really well. Unfortunately, I could really use a different insert to bring it closer to the trigger on my Canik TP9.

I like this sight. The one con is that it will now not fit my holster and I can't find a holster it will now fit.

Fast shipping which is good. Qualifies for free batteries for life which is also good. Easy to get sighted in and works well. So far the only bad thing that I can think of is it shows how bad I shake. Hopefully it will last for a long time.

I mounted on a CZ tactical,with a suppressor,no issues.but only time will tell very easy to see down inside range,i have not used outside,handles back pressure and recoil well again only time will tell ask me again in few months.

Crimson Trace proves itself again with the CMR-201 Rail Master Rail Master Universal Laser Sight... It works excellent, was easy to install and fit the rail of my Walther PPQ perfectly... I was able to adjust it easily to my laser bore sight... I would buy one again if I needed to.
