Most Helpful Positive Review Crimson Trace laser grips for .357 ammo
One does not carry a .357 magnum handgun because it is well suited for conceal carry. You can, but it has some obvious limitations due to its size and weight. You carry a .357 revolver exactly because of it's size, weight, reliability and caliber capabilities. You carry a .357 revolver, as I have...

Most Helpful Negative Review Laser Trace 314
I bought a crimson trace 413 for my 629 44 magnum mountain gun From Smith and Wesson. It does not attach the same way my factor installed grips do. So you will need to save the screw if you ever want to re install the old grip. I could not get The grip to tighten down on the lower part of the grip....

Great laser

by P, from WA, United States Written on March 22, 2016
Easy to install , grip is solid not slippery. Very visible indoors and looks like it would work outside well. Have not taken it to the range to see if it is on target , but from the sights it looks good.

Crimson Trace N frame S and W

by CWJ, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on February 13, 2016
My latest gun investment was the installation of Crimson Trace laser grips on my S&W mod. 625, 5 inch .45ACP. This weapon is front-line/at the door protection for my wife and I. I believe, as I have tested this combination, that response time and versatility of accurate fire have been much improved. My wife's confidence has been greatly improved. The installation of the grips went perfectly as you should expect from a Crimson Trace product. The laser came almost perfectly sighted for 25 yards and will of course be sighted for much closer once the specific defense ammo is determined. An expensive but a necessary addition to any firearm that might be fired in low light or off balance defense situations.
Pros:
  • Perfect Fit
Cons:
  • pricy but worth it

Crimson Trace Grips for SW

by Valleyboy, from MT, United States Written on September 19, 2015
Have 2 of these one each for my 640 and my 66. The build quality is good, installation vey simple, and functionality superb. Get quick accurate first shots off by just quickly pointing the weapon, following the very bright laser dot...and squeezing off a round. The way CT has designed these pointer lights to be part of the handgrip means they are out of the way, but Intuitivey utilized...and you can use your favorite holster, unmodified. Great product.

Crimson Trace Lasergrips for S&W 357

by BS, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on January 27, 2015
Everything as expected except for the fact that the metal butt of the gun is longer (backside) than the groove molded into the grips. Had to carve out about an inch or so vertically before I could get the grips to close on the back. I could not find information on this grips' compatibility with the pistol made in the 70's other than J-frame, round butt.

Fits and works now.

CT laser sights are a GREAT asset to any defensive handgun, especially in low light, where most criminal attacks occur, and at close range. The CT models are well-designed, reliable, and activate from a normal firing grip without any conscious action required by the (possibly frightened) user. Also, just seeing a red dot on his chest has instantly stopped many a criminal attacker without a shot being fired. I have used them for years and recommend them highly!
IMPORTANT NOTE: You DO need to adjust the red dot to the bullet's point of impact (per CT's included instructions).

robber

by Legacy Reviewer, from FL, United States Written on February 9, 2014
nice for home defense and the bad guy knows it.Took the gun to the range and rechecked it with a bore sight when i cleaned it.Was off an inch at 20 feet.
Easy to readjust, but just know it will be off some even
though i had it spot on with the bore sight before my range time.
Pros: fast target acquisition
Cons: needs recalibration after firing gun

badbuy

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on January 26, 2013
The sight is very hard to dial in and be consistantly accurate. The grips are not as comfortable as the stock grips and look more plastic than rubber.

Reading glasses not required!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on November 24, 2012
Not cheap but Optic Planet has the best price. Very easy to use and now I don't have to worry about seeing the sights without reading glasses. Once you've tried these you will be spoiled.
Pros: Easy to install & use. Don't need reading glasses to see sights.
Cons: Not cheap (but good quality).

LG-307 Super Buy

by EastTexCooter, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on July 31, 2012
Although more expensive that the LG-207, this CT for S&W K-frame revolvers is much better because of the rubber grip. Holds fast in the hand. Activation button is well-placed. Definitely recommend for your home and self-defense revolvers.
Pros: Ease of Use, Reliability
Cons: none
