Bore scopes don't lie, but barrel manufacturers do
I bought this barrel. It has been a sub MOA performer.
I would call this a legitimate "match" barrel. According to what the bore scope shows, it is one of the best barrels I have ever bought. Not so with some other manufacturers "match" barrels. Now that bore scopes are dirt cheap, everyone is buying them, and they show that some manufacturers use the term "match grade" very loosely. I have a Cold Hammer Forged barrel that I paid top dollar for that isn't even close to how nice this Criterion barrel looks. So don't buy the hype; get a bore scope and see if you're getting what you pay for...

Accurate shooter!
I am a fan of Criterion barrels.I own custom Criterions I’ve gotten from a gunsmith. And I’ve got several pre fit Criterions that were purchased online. All shoot MOA.
This barrel is a heavy barrel. But not what I would call a bull barrel. It is only .820 from the gas block up to the muzzle.I consider .920 to be a bull barrel.
Very good fit and finish.Match quality.I was shooting 1/2” groups w/77g Sierra MK hand loads after a brief break in period of maybe 50 rds.Not something I’d want to carry hunting. But,perfect for target.

Criterion Barrel
Awesome. Consistently putting down 1/2 inch groups with 55 and 69 grain bullets over Ramshot TAC powder and CCI primers. It is a little on the heavy side but the performance more than makes up for it.
