Fantastic blade, atrocious sheath

You spend in excess of $300 for a knife, you'd expect a decent sheath. That's not at all what you get here. The blade, is absolutely worth the money, however, the sheath that accompanies that blade, is absolutely worthless. No retention. None. You cannot trust that this extremely sharp blade will stay put. It's a terrible shame, but that's the truth.

I found this to be very sharp and beautiful. If you process or take down anamals with it I recommend coating it with a cooking oil first. I didn't think to do that before use and only wiped it down with fodage and a quick splash of water. Two hours later there was staining on the blade. Still got 5 stars because of preformance.
