I ordered this knife to supplement the first aid/response kit that I keep in my Jeep. I specifically picked this model for the fish-hook style seat belt cutter integral to the blade (and because it's orange... "second kind of cool"). Opening the knife is easy - and it clicks soundly into place thanks to the internal lock. The blade itself is razor sharp and I am confident it will perform if I need it. This is a really nice knife wish it was a little bigger for my hands but it really works well and well made great price on sale and wished I had bought two would recommend this one to anyone looking for a good working tool. A++++++

Underwater in a car?

You had better hope you have this tool handy!!!
Keep it within reach, stay calm and use the air inside the car until the pressure somewhat balances between water inside and out. Hopefully your seat belt is undone or cut by then. Break the window and escape you should be able to survive.

Folding Rescue Knife

If you are looking for an inexpensive knife to keep in your vehicle to cut a seat belt or break vehicle window to escape or help some one trapped in a vehicle this should do the job. The one thing I don't like is that this product is MADE IN TAIWAN. If you wanted a rescue to carry I recommend Benchmade. Benchmade makes an excellent rescue knife and they are made in USA.
