I purchased this knife from your sister company Dvor. I showed this knife to my next-door neighbor who informed me that his brigade in Vietnam was named Rakkasan. So I purchased this knife from Optics planet for him. He proceeded to give me an education :
My neighbor was a member of the 3rd brigade of the 187th 101 airborne in Vietnam, what I learned was " Rakkasan "
Means in the Japanese language , ' fallen down umbrella' ⛱ so the term was used for our paratroopers.
I love CRKT knives and this is another well-made high-quality knife and I would recommend to anyone who has a knife collection .
