Great little compressor. - Crosman Benjamin Recharge Compressor

For those in need of a HPA compressor there are numerous choices out there. I own another one distributed by Air Venturi and 13 months after it arrived it died and has been at there shop for 3 weeks awaiting repair. I'm a competitive target shooter who simply can't be without a compressor during the height of my competition season so when my AV 4500 went belly up I needed to grab a backup. I did some research and narrowed the field of what I felt affordable to the Omega Air Charger and this new unit by Benjamin. Although the Recharge was an unknown quantity at the time the company that backs it, Crosman / Benjamin (aka Velocity)has some of the best customer service on the planet. This is why I felt confident enough to purchase this untried unit. That was a little more than 3 weeks ago and I've used the unit three times a day for about 10 minutes each time (a total of 30 minutes per day) and it has preformed flawlessly as should be expected. It's quite like the Omega at about 70 dbs when running, it compact and faster it's faster than the Omega.

So far I'm delighted with the unit and hope to remain so even though should it prove less than my expectations demand, I know that Crosman will make it right.

The Omega is fine and highly rated, proven product. It's a bit slow, it's not a handsome beast but it has been proven to be a durable and dependable product. I'm hoping that purchasing the Recharge proves out to be the right decision. So far, so good. Should anything go amiss, I'll report back.
