Stabilizing the mounts.
As they are these do not offer a stable mount for a scope or any optics. I found that putting a piece of 1/16" Danco rubber gasket material placed between the barrel and the pump chamber provides a solid base for the adapters to rest on. And this without deforming or stressing the barrel. The quality of the fastener could be better also. The head stripped on one so the hex key no longer works in it.
