I bought the cell camera last season and had nothing but trouble with it. Wouldn’t send pictures and if it did they were two days ago. Placed a SPYPOINT camera right beside it and would get pictures within one minute. Took the Cuddeback down deactivated it cancelled my subscription and still getting charged, just got off the phone with them and finally got them to hopefully cancel my subscription.

Purchased a 3 camera kit, set them out, the photos were ok, the images started coming to my cell phone, all was good for about 2 weeks, then they stopped working, they were still taking photos, but the images were no longer being uploaded to me. Called cuddeback, 10 times, finally got through, and they said I needed to bring the cameras all in, and reinstall/update the software. I told the guy that he can send me out 3 new cameras with the right software and he can have these defective ones back……of course that was a no. Also, The main camera has a battery compartment that is not very sturdy, the back broke right away. Would not buy again

I have 4,Set up good all linked, worked good for a month and a half then the battery's ran out. Switched those out all worked but one would not link so moved camera closer all of them linked took pictures for a day sent me report all was ok. Now none are sending pictures,I'm not getting cell report. Pay that kind of money for something ought to work a little better than that, pretty sad. Company ought to get the kinks out of a product before selling it
Cons:
- Poor picture quality
- CHEAP "Lithium Ion Re-Chargeable Batteries" have a tendency to EXPLODE!

I have a base camera with 2 G2+ & 2 J-2 cameras. It been almost 1 year and I have had no problems ..unlike the spypoint camera that never worked. I did add the external battery packs. The G2s are at 136 days and are now showing as battery low with the report I receive every day. I average anywhere from 5 to 15 images a day. I like the G2+ over the J2 since they take D batteries opposed to AA. Such a great system when you can't be at your property and want to have a surveillance system for animals and trespassers. I ll be adding more cameras to the network this year.

Batteries last 3 weeks tops. Picture quality is garbage. Customer service said to buy a solar pack or extra battery pack. Im under warranty, and nothing was offered to rectify the problem. Just to buy more stuff to make it work. Used Spypoint for years with zero problems. And the Batteries last months, not 2 to 3 weeks. Do not buy

Will not power back up after replacing batteries. 4 out of 8 cameras now will not power up properly. The battery life is all over the map. A few last 4-5 weeks and a few only 3-4 days. Very frustrating. I have called their customer service With a prior issue and they were rude. Do not buy these cameras I repeat do not buy these cameras.

I have 10 of these cameras. Have had several issues and cant get customer service to call me back. The one time they did call me back they said they would send a new camera. They never did and wont return my calls. Love the idea of the camera link system but too many issues such as... wont power up when batteries are replaced..dies and wont reboot...smokes with new batteries...inconsistent battery life 4-6 weeks...battery oack connector shorted out...doesnt always take pictures... wouldnt recommend them until they get their act together. Im considering contacting the BBB on them.

Constant headaches. If you finally figure out how to set them up you will then need to continuously add things to keep them working. I've got some with 18 D batteries yet still don't last. My two year old home units are now "outdated" and need newer technology. If you need to contact cuddeback there is basically no way to do so. The concept is great. However, it is constant frustration.
