I spoke with several salesman at area stores, they recommended it for predator hunting. I was very disappointed with the range. Maybe 200yrds w/o the red lens, 50-75 with the lens on. I would not recommend this for hunting @ all. Otherwise small, lightweight and battery life was great. Ill have other uses for it but not predator hunting.
