Not sure what the first review is talking about, does it take two hands to turn on a light switch? This light couldn't be easier to use, I love the fact it has a secondary lower light out put to save battery life. I'm getting 200 yards with this light as well, but that's exactly what I expected....

I spoke with several salesman at area stores, they recommended it for predator hunting. I was very disappointed with the range. Maybe 200yrds w/o the red lens, 50-75 with the lens on. I would not recommend this for hunting @ all. Otherwise small, lightweight and battery life was great. Ill have oth...

Reliable/Durable light

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on July 16, 2014
You want a durable light to have in your truck? Cyclops is it for me, this thing can roll around in my truck, survive the drop test on concrete multiple times, just can't stress how durable this is.

300 lumens is more than bright enough for what I need it for just as a utility light, not really using it for spot lighting. They make a lot more powerful lights then this one.
Pros: Survived multiple drop tests, pretty bright
Cons: none so far

Versitile and Mobile

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on February 26, 2014
At the recommendation of a friend I picked up this light for simple outdoor uses this fall. My primary use is in the boat, as it is cord free unlike my last. It has come in handy in pre-dawn navigating channels fishing and setting up decoy's in the dark while duck hunting. I even got to use it blood-trailing a deer this winter, the guys with flashlights were envious! I really like the concentration of the beam in the fog and easy one-handed use while driving and mobility to use anywhere. For price I find it hard to beat, especially without a cord or big, heavy, weak battery on the back like my old one. Very pleased with the purchase, would recommend. Can't wait to use it turkey and hog hunting this spring!
Pros: Weight, Ease of Use
Would recommend: Yes

Worst light ever made!!

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on December 11, 2013
The switch to keep the light on continously takes both hands and them some to turn on. I used this light one time and I will say the battery life was good but the stream lights stopped working. $80 and seemed to be the best light Cabelas had at the time on the shelf....pretty disappointed. Cant find the receipt or I would no longer have it in the truck!!!!
Pros: is there any? guess the batt life is good
Cons: stream lights dont work. switch sucks
