I was very skeptical about this model however at the suggested retail price under $350 I figured what the hay I’d give it a shot. At 6lbs I was worried about the recoil—but nope, no problem with the rubber shock pad on the stock . I took this gun to a 500rnd home defense class the day after I bought and I had only shot 4 rounds the day I brought it home. I ended up being 3rd fastest out of 15 and that was including the semiautomatics. After our competition people came to look at the new guy new gun with the 2nd cheapest out of the class. Lol… Using 00buck from 3-12yds the stock 18.5” barrel kept my spread 6-15” however, the 26” barrel smoked the competition at upto 25yds. So straight out of the box it did excellent but while a member was working on his gun trying to smooth out his slide and jamming by putting oil on it I remembered something the salesman which was a retired state trooper he told me to do maintenance on it before my class oiling and just getting use to it before I went would really help. So I ask these guys if I could use a little oil on the slide rails and oh my did I just wake up the beast by feeding it oil. I pressed the slide release and the pump almost racked one in the barrel without me touching it. Everyone was watching just whatever happened with my gun and I asked the two guys that were faster than me earlier and they said no way however we did and yep the time was only .4sec slower on one section that delt with reloading in it.
