Good kit for start your build.
I assembled my AR lower with no issues and it had everything I needed. This was my first build and I wanted everything in one case. I'm sure there's some pins and punches that won't get use. I would recommend this kit and it's pretty tough in my opinion.

Not to impressed
Better off buying the solid brass just my opinion. The brass is threaded on to a piece of steel. Don’t ask me why I went for this very one , was one of the few instock and the Real Avid set I had , the punches bent, broke , just horrible quality and needed . I got to finish one build with that set.
Does the trick
Used this on several new builds and all works as advertised. If you were going to dive off into more serious guns nothing that would put significant more stress on the tools the punches may bend.....

Great verity of sizes
Being a novice... I'd just want to say that this set is more than enough for my needs. My primary reason for buying this set was changing out parts and cleaning. Its better than expected for the price.

Great Punch Set
This set is great. The price point is excellent. You get normal punches plus you get roll pin punches. It pretty much covers all the sizes. Have used it on AR builds and CZ Scorpion builds and it always had the correct punch for the job. A must have for a do it at home armorer. 2 thumbs up.

all the punches i need
This is a great punch set for the money. So far I have been using it on black guns, deer rifles, and pistols. It has all the punches I need for takedowns, trigger swaps, and the like. I have not had any wear or breakage of any of the punches yet and the mallet is just the right size and weight. Only wish there were more than 4 sizes of steep tip drive punches.

Gunmaster punch set
For the price you get more Than you need . The tools seem to be of quality material but time will tell only complaint is that the malet doesn't fit snug into the case but all in all good set . Was very useful in my first AR build
