Ordered the first mount only to be returned due to the cross bolts missing! Placed another order due to the first mount missing the two main screws…. Opened the second package a week later, and to my surprise the mount was missing the same two screws. Highly frustrating having spent $200 on mounts that are useless.

This mount is light and fits both my Aimpoint T1 and Holosun 403. I use it in co-witness height to keep it low, as I am not running iron sights on either gun. There is no clamp like other mounts. It slides onto the rail, then you install the screws through the slots to tighten it. It won't fall off if you didn't tighten it. Unhook the charging handle and move it back a couple of inches and slide it on the rail from the back of the receiver. Great mount!

I’d asked around about if this would my Holosun 403gu Elite Gr and no one seemed sure. I went for it anyway as the mount that came with the optic(which I love)was lower 1/3 only. I did get an answer from Optics Planet(during the Christmas buying season even, now that’s customer service for ya!)and ordered it. I love having the option of absolute and lower third and its so easy to have it either way. It’s been great for ALL the dry fire drills I do now since it’s getting the point of buying enough ammo to make me happy or sending the oldest to college(Ha!), but that not the risers fault. The build quality is what you would expect from DD and it’s perfect for me. Now if I can just get my optic back from Holosun! Blinked out the first day I was able to take it out on the new mount! Ha again! Anyway, I can’t recommend it or Optics Planet enough. I love the mount and I keep coming back to OP for the prices and the customer service.

A fine piece of lightweight hardware. Mounted with Aimpoint T2. Would have considered it a serious score accept that it didn't co-witness on my Troy sights. Also confirmed it wasn't going to work with the aimpoint 3x magnifier I want. Unfortunately, DD doesn't list the height for this item so you'll probably never know if it works unless you buy it. Lesson learned: If you can't confirm measurements its safest to go with the same brand mount as you sights. Still, I was very impressed with the craftmanship and will buy other DD items with confidence.

Purchased one of these for use in my FBI Regional Teams clone build. Some people prefert he HRT build with the HRT engraved mounts, but this Daniel Defense is also clone correct and more attractive. As with all DD products, quality is excellent.

Really nice mount, I like to test my gear out and this one definitely stands up to the abuse. I tossed my rifle about 20’ with my old mount and my micro dot ended up shifting. This mount keeps it where you put it. Definitely something I would trust in battle or everyday heavy use.

Strong mount and has held up to normal abuse haven’t done any classes yet but I plan to and will really put the mount through it’s paces by doing some classes and torture testing. I’ll update the rating of the item when I do so it better reflects the true nature of the product at a later date.

I really like this mount for my Aimpoint micro optics. Very light, strong, and simple design. All hardware was inlcluded for either lower third or absolute cowitness. My only gripe is cosmetic. Don't like the large slotted screws on the side. It is easy for the screwdriver to slip when installing and mar the finish.
