Fantastic Quality BCG

This BCG is a fantastic pick for any quality AR build. There are a lot of fancy coatings out there with lots of promises, but I believe Eugene Stoner had it right from the beginning. A chrome plated BCG looks great, runs great, and cleans way easier than those nickel Boron coatings that stain and turn a dull grey after only a few mags through it. Only needs a few drops of oil on the contact points and it wipes clean as new after minimal maintenance. Glad I bought this bolt carrier group. But be aware this is a dull chrome coating, not a super shiny cosmetic chrome like some new NIB or other coating are when new.
Pros:
  • Durable, easy to clean and mil spec
Cons:
  • Not shiny like some people may want. But that is how Stoner designed it
Best Used for:
  • Duty use, SHTF rifle, great upgrade from phosphate coating
Would recommend: Yes

great Bolt Carrier Group

When received the box it came in protected it from any outside damage that could happen. We checked the firing pin and oiled it placed it in the carbine. Everything worked perfect. There is nothing bad about the experience. When it works great and there are zero flaws it workmanship and expectation it is a joy to use.
