Great rail
I am a DD fan so when swapping out for a larger rail that would fit a suppressor this was my first choice. Super easy to install and fits perfect. The M-lok design is very lightweight. Weighs less than the previous rail even though this one is wider and longer. Zero complaints and highly recommend.

-better installation instruction are needed. Had to contact DD for assistance.
-better QC is needed. Anodizing splotch defect on a $230 rail.
- DD customer care sounded generally annoyed. Had a tone like i was dumb for having questions.

wrong size advertise
They advertise it’s a 15.5 handguard but It’s not it’s a 15in handguard

Sturdy American Made Part
I bought this to fit it over a suppressor. It is slightly the right internal diameter, but it's TIGHT. Make sure you get a slim or long can if you want to fit it.

- Suppressed / Silenced semi-autos

good looking rail
DD makes a good looking rail, no surprise there.
I will say the mfr xl rail did claim it could accept a suppressor which was not true for the Dead air sand man x. The can would hit the rail before it could lock up properly. I wound up getting a 10" barrel for the 10" rail. Overall still love the rail. Just might need a thinner profile can .

Nice firearm Rail
This has not been installed on the firearm as I am waiting on suppressors. The rail itself appears to be well built and to have a simple install process. I would definitely recommend this rail to folks who are considering firearm suppression.

The MFR XL rail is amazing
I bought this rail not knowing how it would pair with an Adams Arms piston kit, to my surprise it paired nicely, just barely fit but luckily the fitment turned out nicely. The Daniel Defense rail is very nice quality, solid and durable plenty of places to mouth accessories and comfortable to grip if you use something similar to a Strike Industries Link Curved grip.

One of the best rails
Excellent rail at a decent price. Fit & finish was superb, DD should’ve included at least 1 mlok pic rail. Very lightweight & aesthetically appealing. The overall girth of the rail would be good for most hands, bigger hands could opt for the XL version.
