This complete upper showed in no time at all. Once opened, it came in a well packaged DD box, that was inside of an equally well packaged OP box. Upper came out flawless. Got it added to my lower later that day and took it to the range a few days later where it shot very nice. A little gassy, but nothing an H2 couldn't take care of. Wish it came with an adjustable gas block, but not a big deal. Since its pin and weld swapping that gas block out wont be quick fix but it is doable if some really feels like doing the work, but can also be achieved through buffer and spring adjustments.

Extremely high-quality upper receiver. Looks and functions great.

Beautiful upper with a tight lock up to my Sabre lower receiver. Pin and weld is well done with the muzzle device precisely aligned. I bought this so I can still train manual of arms but without shooting my 300blk to bankruptcy.

I went with the pin & welded Surefire 3 Prong model, so I had another host for my SOCOM762-RC3 Suppressor. As usual, Optics Planet completed the order process quickly & I received it in about 4 days.

The quality of this upper is impeccable. Unlike other brands so-called "Complete" uppers, DDM includes their high-quality BCG & Grip-N-Rip Charging Handle, making the Compleye Upper range ready The Surefire 3 Prong option arrived properly timed with the pin/weld as close to perfect as can be & the Handguard's Cerakote finish further compliments this high-quality Upper!!!

First range day, I tested it on 2 different lowers using M193 & M855 ammunition from a wide variety of brands... both ran flawlessly!!!

If you are looking for a 556 Upper & dont mind spending a bit extra, I highly recommend going with this Daniel Defense AR-15 Upper!!!

I've taken this rifle to the range several times over and it has performed flawlessly. This is definitely one of the best bang for bucks you can get. I love the milspec brown as well, it matches up perfectly with the stock, foregrip and pistol grip that Daniel Defense sells on OP.

Super nice upper well made and very accurate, even at 200 yards using V Max ammo. No problems with any mix of ammo, this is just another great DD rifle, I installed this upper on a brand new DD lower. Also there is no issues at all with this upper, every detail is perfect.

Daniel Defense makes some pretty nice rifles. I had a brand new lower already and putting this upper on it was perfection. I would hope you can get one before they are all gone!

It’s Daniel Defense. With that being said it’s a 10/10 the action is super smooth the coating on the handguard is perfect fitment on a mil spec lower is snug accuracy is easily under an inch with good ammo and around 1.5 with PMC. It is a little but over gassed but I tamed it down nicely with an H2 Buffer and G super 42 spring. It did have a lot of packing grease which was kind of a pain to get rid of especially under the handguard but overall u can’t go wrong especially at the price
