I’m a BCM guy but this was a good deal for a Daniel Defense upper so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered it came with a Surefire Suppressor Ready Flash Hider because the listing said it would come with a DD muzzle device. I almost didn’t buy it because I would of had to remove the pin/welded muzzle in order to place a suppressor ready muzzle device on it but I won’t have to since it came with the Surefire ($180 value).

My groups were very tight and it shot like a dream. Daniel Defense usually sends their rifles over gassed. They do this so that it won’t have trouble shooting all sorts of different ammo that people may use so you may want to tamp it down a bit.

I believe that uppers are the most important part of ARs so if you want to get your hands on a Daniel Defense rifle but don’t want to spend 2k or more, buy this upper and throw it on an Aero Precision lower. This will allow you to build a bad azz rifle for under $1500.
