In my opinion…this is the best hand guard on the market for an AR platform. I have not enough time to list the value and quality details that accompany this handguard. It was worth the extra cost over some other options.

Replaced my RIS ii for the RIS iii for a more modern version of the sopmod block 2 thinner feel to the rifle I glad I upgraded my rifle

Fenominal rail

This is genuinely the best rail I have ever installed (for a milspec AR15). Easy installation, very rigid, very well built, very durable. The only complaint I have is that the barrel nut requires it's own tool (included), but it would have been easier if DD would have made it milspec. The difference between a milspec barrel nut tool vs DDs barrel nut tool is almost impercibable. The sizing is almost identical, you can even grind a barrel nut tool and make it fit, so I don't know why not just make it milspec.

Short and to the point. The DD Ris III is a excellent piece, but over priced The barrel nut wrench is garbage.

RIS 3 Rail 12.5”

The ris 3 rail is a very solid rail and a great follow up to the ris 2 rail. The lockup is solid, and inspires confidence in the rail. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to build a strong rifle.

Perfect upgrade

I'm extremely happy with my Daniel Defense Ris III rail! Upgraded from my MK18 quad rail pic setup. Much happier with the slimmer setup with plenty of mounting real estate. Highly recommend anything Daniel Defense.
