The first DD-7101-S mount I bought was a low profile, 2 piece mount using a hex head screw, as shown in the picture here on OP. Most Helpful Negative Review Decent product but very pricey
DD sling swivel + mount is decent. But, very pricey. I wish they would have used an Allen screw headed screw instead of a standard headed screw. It seems to stick out a bit far from the side of the handguards. But , it seems to do what it needs to do. Only time will tell though.

Perfect Fit, Finally went from a single to a double sling. This was the perfect part to do it with. My hand slides right up to it for perfect hand position.

Solid mount

This is a very solid and rugged mount. The flat head screw appears to be very durable and the finish is great. The swivel is heavy duty as well. However, you are definitely paying for the Daniel Defense name at $50+. One thing that bothers me is that to get the logo right side up, the screw head is at the bottom. Not a big deal, just use a tiny bit of locktite and it's not going anywhere.

Great for the front of an Omega Rail

Highly useful for rails in need of a QD socket. It comes with a swivel but all of my slings already have their own. If you attach this to your rail, your wife will stop looking at better men than you.

Great QD mount

This is a great QD mount. There's not much to it, it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Installs very quickly. Works perfectly with my Magpul QD sling attachments. A bit pricey, but Daniel Defense items are built well so that's understandable.
