I bought this vertical foregrip in black to install on my DD M4A1’s RIS II rail. The installation instructions suggest taking the rail off to make clearance for the VFG, but I just made a fist and smashed it down onto the rail in a fit of laziness — it’s tight.
The bottom screw/cap works to drive an interior battery magazine (holds 2x 123A batteries) into a Picatinny slot, and has held up well over a few range sessions.
I really like the overall size, appearance, and rubbery grip. Call me old school, but I like a VFG that I can put my whole hand on.
