Great boot; worth the money.
Yes they are expensive, but are well worth it. Water tight and comfortable. The hold polish well and can be re soled. I recommend sending them to a quality cooler shop or back to Danner to do that however. Learned that the hard way. On my 3rd pair only because I wanted a replacement while I ship my second pair in to get re soled. Great American craftsmanship!!! Made in USA is a must.

Danner Fort Lewis
Real boots are all but gone in law enforcement. Tennis shoe technology has taken over the boot market. A real boot has a break in period and is serviceable and will last you for many years. Buy once cry once. Cheap made so called boots that don't meet any old school industry standards will cripple you and keep you broke from buying replacements every year. These boots are the real thing and have incredible support. The company says that they run narrow but D with, which is what I always wear in other brands, work fine. The orthotics are great! The foot bed is amazing. No cheap material that makes uneven places in the sole! And they look great. Made in USA. Buy these boots!
