Danner Pronghorn boots
I have tried every boot out there. Once I tried the Danner Pronghorn's 20 years ago, I have been using them ever since. They are the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. They are durable and in my opinion, the best boot out there.

Great boot but runs short
This boot is a great boot. No blisters after breaking them in on a day hike. Only thing I found is they run short. I have worn about 3 diffent styles of Danner boots and about 6 pair now of Danners in all, including old and new Stryker models. All of them were size 12. My athletic shoes are also 12. This is the first boot that ran short. Flat land wasn't bad, but walking on down hills began to hurt my toes shortly into the hike. The rest of the boot was okay unless you plan to wear thick socks and then it may fit tight. Other than that it's a quality boot as expected from Danner.
