Dark Hour Defense -stand off device G34 Gen3
Awesome upgrade...easy to mount on/off. Being in the state of CA its great (no threaded barrel needed).

So so design
It doesn’t have a secure fit. It rattles just a bit when torque correctly. The is no holster for this set-up so you can’t carry the weapon. Dark Jour needs to redesign to fit OEM holster and tight the fitting specs.

Was very lose fitting even with proper fitting.
G17 Gen 5 did not fit well. Very loose even with correct 20 foot pounds of torque. Rattled and made contact with the slide. Felt like it was going to wiggle right off.

Great quality product from Dark Hour Defense. Fits and mounts perfectly on the rail. Looks great and functional. Highly recommended

uneducated buyers leaving bad reviews is not okay
I don't know normally leave reviews but I have to in this case because if you buy something you need to know what you're getting the fact that it doesn't fit in a holster is your own problem don't knock the product because of that it's just I don't want to use the word stupid but I'm going to. The product is excellent I definitely recommend it of course there's going to be holstering issues so do your research first but if it's not going in a holster 100% recommended it's a John Wick on steroids look and it's also functional it's well above my expectations.

My stand off device review
Great product I'm very satisfied and will be recommending to several of my colleagues

Cool idea.
Definitely a cool idea. But seem to produce limited benefits. Barrel jump, still very noticeable. Plus now will need new holster to accommodate.

- New holsters needed.
- Benefit marginal.

DHDC Stand Off Device
So I was hesitant on ordering this and finally bit the bullet and ordered, it did look very nice but it was too tight when trying to put on my Glock 19 and if you do buy this just be warned you will need to go to Dark Hour Defense’s shop and order a holster because it will not fit any holsters you have now, trust me. Very cool concept but definitely not for me! Thanks

Good product
Very easy to install the only issue I am having is finding a holster that will fit my gun properly

Money trap
Know that this part requires a specialized holster which is $115 by the time it gets to you. This holster will require extreme modifications before you will be able to remove the firearm from it while belt mounted. Very frustrating upon paying $140 for the product and another $115 to carry it...
