I love it! But I was hoping they’d send me a sticker. I didn’t get a sticker. Other than that I love it. It took awhile to ship, which was understandable given the events in 2020. I will definitely continue purchasing from Optics Planet.

DD 14.5” CHF LW barrel

As with all DD barrels, top notch quality , accuracy, longevity, and rugged. Perfectly balanced for a great handling rifle. Super light but CHF quality. Can’t go wrong with any Dd barrel. They are 1 of the 3 barrel manufacturers I solely use.

Worth the price

Daniel Defense barrels have pretty much become the standard for which all other duty grade barrels are judged and compared. They've always been accurate and durable and I really appreciate the chrome bore and chamber along with the cold hammer forging that goes into their barrels. It's really hard to find those qualities in a market flooded with cheap nitrided barrels.

DD 16", 5.56mm NATO, 1:7 lightWeight/ mid length gas system barrel

This is a fairly lightweight barrel. The gas journal is .75" and long enough for a PRI flip-up sight/gas block. Stays pretty accurate when hot. It is pricey being a Daniel Defense product. I bought it on their reputation.

Puts everything else to shame

Unless you have a "fun" switch on your rifle this barrel is a no brainer. There is no discernible difference in accuracy between this chrome lined hammer forged beauty and gov profile. The only difference is that with a light and laser on the business end of your you'll still have a balanced platform that will led itself to faster transitions and less fatigue overall. I have over 3k through mine with 1.25moa even after extended heat stress.The industry is full of trends so there are a lot of folks who will poopoo lightweight barrels but thats because the fail to look at the data. Do yourself a favor and invest in this barrel.

Amazing Barrel

What else can one expect from Daniel Defense but perfection. It was very well packaged. It's light and shoots MOA with good ammo. I would take this thing into battle. Overall, it's a fantastic barrel.
