Post covid quality is lack there of.
Optics planet was great to deal with and painless first and foremost. I Ordered two complete 20" upper receivers with two separate transactions. First order arrived and the upper broke free from the cheap,poor cardboard tray/cut out in transit just flopping around. Starting the process off extremely rough. The BC gas key was hardly staked and had two different bolts fastening it to the carrier. Firing pin was poorly machined with tooling marks for. to aft. I will run this gun anyday.
I have just put 1000 rounds in this upper. I did rebuilt it with just a new handguard and bcg. Honestly the way I built this rifle I believe it operates just as good as my DD. And my BCM. The BCG is mil spec and ok to me but I love lantac and this upper with a lantac bcg and surefire warcomp with a quality optic I swear you will not be disappointed.
