Nice mag holder
Holds my spare mag very securely. It scratched easy, but a little leather dye will fix it easily.
Pros: leather, attractive looking, holds mag securely

Quality item well designed
This holder works great. It has a positive hold on the magazine via an internal spring. Yet it keeps the mag right and ready. Finish is typical Desantis....first class. I am very glad I bought this and Optics planet had the best price around.

Good, not perfect
As someone else mentioned, the pouch itself is plastic with a leather backing.
Since I'm using it for a Glock 42 mag instead of a Ruger LC9, the inside tension device for the mag made things too tight. That's not their fault, they made it for something else. I removed the tension device and it works well for my G42 mag.
