Comfortable

by Thomas, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on March 19, 2022
I like this comfortable magazine holder. It's so comfortable I don't know it's on my ankle. I use it for my primary 9mm, and my backup 380. I'm finding I have to be careful putting the magazines in the pouches, because they seem to catch a bit, but being I'm not taking them in and out during the day, it doesn't really matter. If they get used they will only be coming out. The velcro holds the magazines very securely, although there should have been little tabs to grab hold of at the ends of the velcro, to make getting the magazines out faster.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
Cons:
  • None

VERY comfortable ankle mag holder

by Jimi Mac, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on March 11, 2020
I couldn't be happier with this product. I found it VERY comfortable and totally forgot I had it on all day. It accommodates magazines of different sizes from my Sig P365 to my Sig P229! This is becoming an integral part of my CCW EDC!

Great Product!!!!

by FRANK, Verified Owner from IL, United States Written on March 19, 2017
Ordered this not too long ago and its works great on my ankle especially when I wear my jogging pants and do simple errands that take me almost all day. Doesn't move or bother my ankle at all, probably because its made with plenty of padding. Although I do use this magazine pouch with single stack mags not double stack. Pretty sure it would still work, maybe feel a little different. Well made product!!

DeSantis double magazine pouch

by SC Sheepdog, from SC, United States Written on February 6, 2016
DeSantis has crafted well-made and reliable products for decades. The neoprene ankle double magazine pouch is an exceptional matchup to their ankle holster products or as an additional and very comfortable means of carrying two extra magazines for any true Sheepdog. For a Glock 43, Kahr, Ruger, etc. with single-stack magazines you hardly know its on your ankle; the overall weight is negligible as the soft neoprene buffers the magazine edges and the stitching allows for flexibility/movement. The DeSantis neoprene magazine pouch is a well made product at a reasonable price.

Functional and comfortable

by Gunslinger113, from WA, United States Written on January 8, 2016
I have had the DeSantis ankle holster for a few months, which is also great as long as you get the ankle strap. I bought this to triple my ammo capacity. It's very comfortable and I don't even notice I'm wearing it after about 30 minutes. Well made. Very comfortable. I carry a SW 9mm Shield.
Pros:
  • comfortable to wear
  • Functional design
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • concealed gun carry

good product

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on February 11, 2013
best ankle mag pouch I have found. Single stack magazines are pretty comfortable but double stack magazines tend to dig into your ankle. But overall the best I have found.
Pros: works as advertised
Cons: could have a little more padding

excellent for one magazine

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on August 15, 2011
this mag pouch is perfect choice for all day carry of single mag. It actually appears designed that way? When its on the left ankle mag goes in one holder. And when its on the right mag goes into the other holder. Is also stable enough w/one mag for short runs!
Pros: works best as single mag pouch.
Cons: two mags are not easy to conceal!

Very nice...

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from PR, United States Written on July 3, 2011
I've been wearing one for the past month. I wear it for either two Glock 9mm 17 round magazines, or for H&K .40 cal 12 round magazines. Works great with both! However, I've started noticing the unraveling of the threads corresponding with the velcro on the "holster" (stationary) side, not the strap side... It seems I will need to bring it to a semastress to get reinforced... Other than that, it is great, and worth the money...
Pros: It's like wearing a glove on your anckle!
Cons: Stitches will need redoing after a while...
