Perfect fit
I needed a holster for a new Kimber micro nine and, based on previous experience with DeSantis and Optics Planet. I purchased a mini scabbard. The item was on back order so I waited. The wait was time well spent as the fit was/is perfect. The fit on the hip is wonderful standing or sitting and this has become a new favorite carry rig. I have mini scabbards for several weapons and they are all a pleasure to wear. Optics Planet is the best source - good prices and fast service.
Loose fittting
This holster does not properly fit the gun. It is loose even with the retention screw tightened all the way. There is no retention for safety and I believe the gun could fall out accidentally. Maybe the holster is malformed but what does that say about quality control...

Excellent holster
Excellent holster and very small and discreet. Holds my Shield very close and no one knows I have it on, and that's carrying in the summer with just a Carhartt shirt over it. Got mine from AMAZON/Desantis. Got another on order for my Glock 19 also. Not really sure Id order from Optics Planet tho.....its a long story. Just not happy with their Customer service on other issues.

No nonsense OWB holster
The DeSantis Mini Scabbard is a perfect match for the person who wants a no nonsense holster for every day carry. Its clean, secure and functional. It has a strong single belt loop, a screw adjustment for retention, and smooth leather holster for a comfortable carry.

24 Days and Counting
I ordered this holster from Optics Planet 24 days ago... they charged my credit card....no holster yet. The Holster is high quality, as I have seen it in a local gun store.......ordered from this ripoff company and it was a mistake. I doubt I will ever see the holster or a refund. Buyer Beware!!!!!

A class product
DeSantis leather holsters are the Rolls Royce of holsters. The quality of the leather is outstanding. The craftsmanship is of the highest quality. Even the edges of the leather are finished. The best part is the Mini Scabbard is molded specifically for the Kimber Micro 9. Even the angle is perfect. There is a screw to adjust tension, but I did not find it necessary to use it. Optics Planet hadhe best discounted price for this holster that retails for $61.99. Forget plastic and nylon. Good leather is the only way to go for your investment in a handgun.

Excellent holster
I had a difficult time finding any belt holster for the new Kimber Micro-9 and then finding anyone who had one in stock. Optics Planet came through on both counts and at a much better price from those with whom it would have to have been on backorder.
