Best leather holster i have ever owned.
I purchased this holster for my Ruger American 9. I have had some leather holsters before for my full size pistols and the leather they were made from was always a very soft leather that never held the firearm tight to my hip.
I decided to spend a few bucks more for a DeSantis and the leather is very tough and stiff. I really like it. Although Ive only had it a few days. I am very impressed with how well its made, how tight my pistol fits and how well it keeps the pistol secured tightly to my side coupled with a DeSantis Belt makes it even better!
I really like the tan leather over black. I love this holster so far. Would recommend this to a friend. Thank you optics planet for a great price and having everything i wanted in stock.

Little disappointed
I have purchased DiSantis holsters in the past and have been pleased with the quality. However, this one seems to lack the quality of previous holsters. I bought it for Ruger's American Pistol, so holster options were limited. It does the job, so I recommend it, but I would consider other alternatives.
