Rides well on my hip, and does not get snagged on chair arms. Easy on and off, seems to hold tight and the safety strap holds the weapon tight inside the holster. Also looks good in dress clothes. What else can I say, very good holster for my needs. I have bought two now and love both of them.

This BlackHawk is perfect for my G40 MOS. I use the pistol on the trail OWB. The gun fits well smooth unobstructed draw and easily accomadates the extended slide and 6 inch barrel. The easy detach is very secure and perfect for convenience.

Easy on and off the belt. Very comfortable can't even tell it's there. it's doesn't rub against your skin like the paddle holsters. This holster is on the outside of your pants. well worth the money. This holster was recommended to me. If you want good product for the price this is the holster for you. would definitely buy more holsters like this for other hand guns

This is a great holster that keeps the gun secure and stable. No flopping around.

Fully molded to the handgun CW9 Kahr holster, sits about right height for me on the side, comfortable belt holster, security of the thumb snap, holster is marked made in Italy quality is excellent.
Pros: Easy attachment to belt, secure with thumbsnap

Daily use when working in the office and don't want to wear a full Sam-brown. Easy on/off.

I bought two of these from Optics Planet - one for my Kahr CW9 and the other for my full size M&P. The one for the Kahr fits and draws acceptably well.

The one for the M&P has stamped on it "ALL MP MODELS". Well, not really.

The full-size M&P fits poorly in the holster (both 9/40 and 45), the front sight snags on the draw, and the adjustable thumb-break tang has to be pulled up almost all the way out for the strap to cross and snap over the grip tang. Not recommended at all for the full size M&P.

On the other hand, this holster fits the M&P Shield like a glove! A perfect fit for the Shield, one-handed reholstering with the snap is...a snap! I also like the fact that the holster rides high and close - plusses for concealed carry. This holster IS recommended for the Shield!

I don't have an M&P compact but I'd say the compacts should fit as well as the Shield.
