Well designed and durable. It is very easy to fit the pack and the suspension system is the best I've tried. 30lbs of gear on your back feels like nothing. I've done several 4 mile hikes to test it and can't more happy with its fit and performance.

I haven't actually used the backpack yet, but the fit feels comfortable. I bought it after extensive review, so am hoping those reviewers weren't blowing too much smoke. Primarily, I was looking for a rugged pack that could be adjusted easily for a comfortable fit and didn't break the bank. Weight and other ease of use features were secondary. Deuter's reputatation for building packs that fit those requirements is well known. So far, the only complaints that I have are the packaging and lack of English instructions. Once I've broken in the pack with a few trips, maybe I'll remember to update this review.
