Smooth Handgaurd
Sturdy, slim handgaurd with awesome groves for a comfortable grip. If you like adding all the accessories to it I'm sorry to say but you will have to buy rails for it and they aren't that cheap ( I think it should come with a couple). I will definitely buy it again.

First time I put my hands on one knew I had to have. Excellent design, texture, fits my hand perfect.
Wish they were less expensive and easier to find locally.Most of the AR 10 AR 15 PLATFORM rifles hand guard are uncomfortable, bulky, ugly to look at pieces of garbage they keep passing on to customers because they are cheap to produce.

Great rail - pkg sucks
Received two of these 15" rails and thought I was going to have to return them as I took them out of the box. The vacuum pack was broken for both rails and there was a lot of white "dust" on them that made it look like bare aluminum. I was able to clean them up though and all was OK. There is a little play between the Anderson uppers I am using and the anti-rotation lugs on the rail so alignment was a bit tricky. But, once mounted...WOW!! Really light and ergonomic. Will likely buy again if I build another AR.

Awesome product
I have been eyeing this item for some time and found Optics Planet had the best price. I love the look of just the flash hider sticking out. Fit was perfect and feel of the fore end is so much better than a standard round or quad rail stock.

Only one word to describe it: Awesome!
The rail is extremely awesome, solid, and looks very cool. It looks even better if you get the Diamondhead T-Break to go with it. It added quite a bit of weight to my rifle, but it was to be expected, since I got the 15" version. The installation is very easy, and was even simplified my rifle build. The proprietary barrel nut is "low profile" so it does not require an alignment tool to install the gas tube. Again, awesome product and very durable.

Very pleased
So far I find this to be an excellent product. First inspection showed it to be well made and blemish free out of the box. Installation was fast and simple. In hand, this rail feels very comfortable. I will definitely consider buying other products from Diamondhead.

As with all Diamondhead products, the quality and finish are first rate. I have Diamondhead forends on three of my rifles and am very pleased with the performance!

One hiccup, but then, oh my.
When it came in, I had a problem that some others have had, the barrel nut threads were bad. Called opticsplanet, and bam, taden care of. they called Diamondhead, and new barrel nut was shipped. Installed, sighted in, and it is great. the balance and feel is awesome. i also have the T-Brake to finish the look.
