Most Helpful Positive Review Very nice and comfortable hand guard
This handguard feels very sold but light at the same time. I really like the way it looks on my AR with 16" barrel and diamondhead muzzle break. The barrel nut was easy to install. I needed to order a crowfoot (1- 1/4) off amazon for my torque wrench because I couldn't find that size at any hardware store.

Best handguard

It fits and looks great on my bravo company mid length upper half,feels good in my hand very smooth, does not get caught on anything like other handguards, im planning to buy another one for my next build

Great Handguard

The goal was to replace the stock SIG M400 hand guard to eliminate burning my fingers during competitions. The VRS T-566 was perfect for this. It also made the gun a few ounces lighter and it looks bad @$$. A lean, mean machine now!

My First AR Build

For my first AR Build this was the handguard I chose. It's light, looks great, and for the most part, a simple installation. Unfortunately this handguard does not come with barrel nut shims. I have an Aero Precision Upper and it required the use of shims. I had to order my shims from Brownells and wait for them to come in before I could complete the installation. I also purchased the Diamondhead gas block. YHM makes a similar handguard and gas block. If you decide on this type, I would recommend the same gas block because there is a very small amount of clearance.
Pros:
  • Light and strong
  • Looks good on the rifles
Cons:
  • no barrel shims

Product is as described! Great handguard! Looks and feels awesome and is not real heavy! Plenty of room for attachments of accessories! Comes with new ring and is easy to install. Mounts flush with receiver
