Placed it on a New 308 Rem I won at a auction. The rating on this rifle is average at best. I place a Leupold VX 3 Scope that cost more then the rifle did. The Mounts and scope are the key for accurate grouping. Here is another lesson, I purchase lower priced ammo, Matched Grade PPU 155gr hollow points.Three shots, grouped within 1in. Two shots are touching one another. I didn't bother shooting the Hornady 165gr soft point. I am not a fan of aluminum mounts and rings. But this product works!! I mounted the equipment myself and used the proper mounting tools.
