Most Helpful Positive Review Not bad
Works like it's supposed to. The paint does chip with lead bullets. I have only used 125 grain cast lead bullets with this thing and the paint has come off every place I've hit. Also, the little orange stickers that come with it don't last beyond the first hit to them, as they are blasted right off....

Most Helpful Negative Review item broke
After one day of shooting it broke at the point where it spins on the post. We are expecting a lot more for my unit at that price. I have other units that I have paid less for that keep running and running.

Quick, but better alternatives

by wgacowboy, from GA, United States Written on January 28, 2023
I bought two of these in 2012. The first outing, I shot through a back leg with 5.56. The legs I assume are made of a mild steel rod, and will not take direct impacts. The plate itself will hold up to automatic pistol fire, and light rifle. Can be flipped with a well placed magnum rimfire. Will not endure prolonged 30-06 fire. I’m a lover of 180 grain and the target will endure less than a box. The big circle will break off at the twist from the concussion of impacting the small circle fairly fast. The small circle will break off with a little more persistence. For $40+, I think that one is better off to buy a quality 3/8”+, AR500-550 plate and engineer a hanger based on your needs.

Target broke after first use

by Nosteponsnek1776, from NM, United States Written on November 30, 2020
The support bars that make up the structure are made out of some sort of pot metal. The actual target held up fine but as a whole the thing sucks. Also the bottoms of the legs are flat and I needed a large sledge to put it in the ground. 50+ bucks for this is bs.
Pros:
  • Target steel is great
Cons:
  • The rest is awful
Best Used for:
  • Idk it broke from a stray 9mm

A better alternative to a an aluminum can.

by James, from CA, United States Written on May 8, 2019
The standing target is a great feature. I love being able to hear they you have hit your target. However the only down fall is that with my .223, it was putting large dents in the metal plates. Over I am pleased with the unit though.
Pros:
  • Bright color and being able to hear you have hit your target.
Cons:
  • The stand or feet could be a little longer. After 5 or 6 rounds, the unit would fall over because the force of the impact was uprooting it from the ground.
Best Used for:
  • Plinking and training first time shooters.

Seems to hold up well

by Briggs, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on June 3, 2018
Although I've only been out with this once, it held up great. The packaging says to only shoot soft-point ammo, but I regularly shoot FMJ. It handled .22lr, 9mm, .40cal and a few shots of .223 without any issue. Obviously the stickers didn't last, but I'll just keep a can of spray paint around to revive the color and be able to see points of impact.
Best Used for:
  • plinking
