Fridge for overland truck build.
Bought this to keep perishables good for camping. I figure it is large enough for food for a couple people for several days. After unboxing and reviewing an online Bluetooth connection tutorial hooking it up to my iPhone was a breeze and the app works well. The unit itself cools very quickly and goes well below freezing from an ambient 75 degrees. Obviously on hot days this would vary but I feel the compressor is a pretty hearty little unit. If you are tired of dealing with ice and water in coolers and don’t mind the initial cost I feel this is a no brainer. I ordered the sliding base for this unit and it has been a while with no new info…
Pros:
- Solid construction, not too heavy, cools rapidly, good app and Bluetooth pairing.
Cons:
- Price, inability to get a sliding tray on a looonnggg back order?
Best Used for:
- Camping, RV, tailgating.
